This course is probably one of our favorites. You will learn self rescue skill’s, how to assist others that may be in difficulty, and rescue techniques that hopefully, you will never have to use, but are very handy to have. This is the first step on the PADI Professional Ladder. We run this course as an internship so you will gain more experience. During your course you will work with and assist your Instructor. There is no time limit on this course which is divided into 4 areas, Water Skills, Practical Assessment, in depth Diving Knowledge Development and Stamina.

PADI Assistant Instructor course
The PADI assistant instructor course is the first portion of the PADI instructor development course and is designed to provide padi dive masters with additional training as instructional assistants and dive educators. It builds upon the dive master’s abilities to organise and supervise dive activities while concentrating on developing your teaching skills. You’ll not only gain experience as a PADI professional but also start learning the PADI system of diver education.
Prerequisite certification:
- PADI dive master.
- Be fit for diving and submit a medical statement carried out within the past 12 month’s.
- Be 18 years old.
- Been a certified diver for at least 6 months.
- Have completed all 16 IDC knowledge reviews.
- Submit proof of CPR and first aid training within the last 24 month’s.
- If not a PADI dive master, successfully complete dive master course diver rescue skills assessment.
